The Plaza South Residents’ Club is a group of men and women from Plaza South defining the Condo as a community. The goal of the Residents’ Club is to bring varied activities to Plaza South, thus enabling individuals to pick and choose activities that will enhance their community experience. In 2009 the Club sponsored the following activities, and each was chaired by a Resident Club member(s): performance of the Original Florida Follies, Meet ‘N’ Greet Breakfast, Museum Tour with Luncheon and Transportation, Pool Deck Barbecue, Theater and Dinner with Transportation, Lecture Series (Plaza South’s Dr. Jack Fischel and Dr. David Marshall each presented), regularly held Happy Hours hosted by Plaza South residents, Lounge Barbecue, Pot Luck Supper, Flu Clinic Inoculation, Holiday Luncheon, New Year’s Eve Lounge Dinner, and weekly Crochet & Knitting Group. Plans for 2010 include the continuation of 2009 activities with plans in the works for a one week Eastern Caribbean Cruise on March 14, 2010. The Residents’ Club will meet on Wednesday, November 4
th to elicit suggestions from members for 2010 activities and to elect the Residents’ Club Officers.

Presently the Club is composed of three Co-Chairs: Theresa Claire, Barbara Marshall and Shirley Oberg; Treasurer: Tina O’Brien; Secretary Elect: Francine Chartrand. The Executive Board is composed of the three Co-Chairs; Treasurer; Secretary Elect; Past President: Lisa De Filippo; and Welcoming Committee Chair: Phyllis Orlando.
Membership is $20 and Family Membership is $30. Membership begins the first of the year.
The Club welcomes the support of the Condo Community through club membership, participation in the offered activities, and through the suggestions and implementation of current and new activities.
